Join us to explore creativity in preaching and Generation Z

Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.
— Isaiah 43:19

In the Greek translation of the Old Testament, the root of the Greek word used to talk about something new is καινός (kainos). It refers to the concept of something being fresh, new, unused, or novel. We think it is a great word to describe the creativity in preaching project at Green Lake Conference Center.

As part of that project, we are hosing two retreats each year. The first will be focused on the Gen Z and preaching while the second will function as a preaching lab where participants can experience and experiment with alternative approaches to preaching.
